Ingredients:
- 1 pizza base (or try using a wrap for a thinner base)
- Tomato pizza sauce (or tomato paste/sauce with oregano added)
- Bbq sauce
- 1 shallot, sliced
- Shaved ham, pulled
- 2 slices hot salami, diced
- 1 slice of bacon, diced
- Grated mixed cheese – mozarella, cheddar plus any others
- Dried oregano
- Sweetcorn (if you like)
Method:
- Spread as much tomato pizza sauce onto the pizza base, leaving an edge around the rim as the crust.
- Next add my bbq sauce of choice but you can leave this step out if you want a more Italian style pizza.
- Then scatter over the shallots, ham and salami being as generous as you wish. Don’t add too much that it overloads and weighs down the base too much!
- Add the cheese and top with bacon so that it gets nice and crispy. Lastly, sprinkle over some dried oregano.
- Lastly pop in the oven to bake (on a pastry bake if possible to avoid a soggy bottom) for around 15 minutes or whenever it looks ready.
